Hygiene as a whole consists of 3 aspects, namely: personal hygiene, occupational hygiene and production hygiene. Vofpm employees are required to be healthy and free of contagious illnesses. In addition, the wearing of industrial clothing and personal protection equipment is of the utmost importance. It is not permitted to wear jewellery and watches in production areas. Vofpm always ensures the freshness of the product is guaranteed during the production process.

The raw materials therefore need to be checked and stored clean and at the correct temperature. The containers are cleaned and disinfected after production in a fully automated in-house cleaning facility. They are cleaned directly after production so there is no opportunity for bacteria to develop. Vofpm has implemented an effective cleaning and sterilization plan as part of its wider HACCP plan.
